NC Workers’ Comp Bill Introduced

Yesterday House Bill 709 was introduced in the North Carolina General Assembly. If passed this bill would dramatically limit the rights of injured workers. The bill would, among other things: end medical treatment and compensation at 500 weeks even if your doctor said you still could not work, allow employers to talk directly to the injured worker’s doctor, and force injured NC employees back to work in jobs without regard to wage. Contact your legislator and tell them you oppose House Bill 709.
