According to WRAL.com, the US Chemical Safety Board will vote today to increase standards for natural gas line purging after an explosion last year at the Slim Jim plant in Raleigh. This measure should increase safety for NC workers'. as well as workers nationally, reduce workplace injuries, and perhaps even lead to lower workers' compensaiton costs.
